Having a facial is a new experience every time. I could be having the same facial but the outcome is different based on the state of my skin prior to the process.. The time of year also has an effect on how my skin is, but this treatment has my skin glowing regardless.
This time I had the Dr Dennis Gross skincare lunch time peel. I am going away and I felt my skin needed a lift, a boost of radiance as it looks tired and dull, not holiday ready at all!
My Dr Dennis Gross Aesthetician went through the consultation process and suggested I try the Vitamin C brightening facial. I love how effective Vitamin C is in any form, so I was delighted by the suggestion.
We began the facial with 2 cleanses, my favourite being the second cleanse with the Alpha Beta Cleanser. Right after the second cleanse my therapist let me take a picture of the progress and I was amazed by how my skin looked after a cleanse. Seeing my skin now made me even more excited to see the final result…
After the cleanse I had the LED mask put on my face; now I’m ready to see how my face looks after each stage, the anticipation of seeing my face after the whole facial is making me anxious (in a good way!). My skin looks rested, and my facialist tells me all the other benefits of LED. It helps in increasing circulation, which is exactly what the doctor has ordered for my tired skin.
After the mask, my facialist uses the Alpha Beta Universal peel on me. I was sceptical of having a lunch time peel, especially before I am going away on holiday, but my Aesthetician explained the process of Step 1, Steps 2 and Step 3 and I must say it was so comforting that I was in the hands of an expert. After the peel, I did my standard photo and honestly I was amazed at how the my skin looked. Firstly, it was incredible that I managed to do a lunch time peel with no downtime, and my skin looked so refreshed, with no redness or any fight back from my skin.
I then had the collagen sheet mask which was so cold when applied on my face. Once the mask was off I had 15% Vitamin C serum applied on my face followed by Firm and bright eye serum, and then the Dewy Deep cream. I had All -Physical Lightweight Wrinkle Defence SPF to finish my facial and the interesting fact about this SPF is that it is reef safe, which means I’m definitely buying this for my holiday.
Finally it was time for the big reveal for the outcome of my facial and this facial has exceeded my expectations, and properly readied me for my holiday. The whole process was just 30 minutes and I’m so pleased I got the desired results.
